Founded in 2019 the Association of British Botanical Artists evolved from a single exhibition the "World Wide Day of Botanical Art held in May 2018. From this exhibition the idea of a botanical art association that catered for individuals with a love of the medium arose with the express aim that the association would, from the start, welcome - every one, from any where and with any ability.

ABBA has a small team that help manage the association and plan for future events. They are all volunteers and ABBA would not function without their dedication.

In 2022 to reflect our growing international membership, ABBA has lost a "B" and is now the Association of Botanical Artists (ABA).

We are always looking for volunteers so if you feel you can add something to the team please do not hesitate to contact us. Key roles arise continuously so please check our Positions Vacant page for the latests updates.
