Using the ABBA Gallery
The ABBA Gallery uses a third party application called Exhibbit. This application is designed to recreate the experience of "walking into a bricks and mortar gallery" and moving through the space to view the individual pieces of artwork.
The best viewing experience is on a desktop or laptop in full screen. Tablets like an iPad or mobile phones have smaller screens so the experience is not the same in the web browser. However, Exhibbit does provide an APP you can download for the iPhone or iPad from the Apple Store or for an Android phone from Google Play. Install this app and Exhibit will automatically open when you click on the ABBA Gallery link.
Installation of Exhibbit on your mobile or tablet is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Maps uses Google myMaps to display on a map, places that are important to ABBA. These maps can be zoomed and scrolled and for the best experience made full screen.
We use three maps for information:
Where our members are located across the globe - click on the symbol to see more details.
Where our ABBA Champions are located - in the members area you can see contact details
What Plant Where
As our artwork is displayed in our Galleries we also record where the plant comes from. We do this so that there is a little bit more information about the contents of the artwork for the enjoyment of the viewer as well as a way of recording the plants species location which is particularly important for native species.
The ABBA Forum is a place for questions, feedback, comments and ideas. All visitors to the website can read the posts but only ABBA members can add to the posts. The Forum is divided into two - one for conversations that are of interest to all ABBA Members and one that could focus on regional topics.
